Terry Fox Run

Our run will be on Friday. The pep rally starts at 10:30am and the run will begin around 10:45 until 11:30. Who will you be running for?

Bike to School Day

This Friday is Bike to School Day - will you participate?

Food Truck Friday 

Killa Dilla Quesadilla Food Truck will be here Friday at dismissal time. If you are interested, please bring your $10.00 for a full lunch including a main item, drink and a side item.  

Orange Shirt Day

Monday is Orange Shirt Day. 

Literacy - Ask me about adverbs and prepositions.

Math -    Ask me about the hands of a clock and the types of angles that can be made.

Social Studies -  Ask me about the meaning of democratic, autocratic, and consensus decision making.

Health - Ask me about personal hygiene and our visit from Miss Sandra from Souper Stars. 

Music - Ask me about what song we are doing for the CBC Music Challenge. 

ONE BLOG THIS WEEK!

Agenda:

- Meet, Greet and Learn - Tomorrow between 5 and 7 pm. You and your child can come anytime during those 2 hours to learn about our routines and set goals with your child. 

- Book Fair - you can come and purchase Thursday after school til 7pm and Friday morning 8 am - 12pm

- Word Work is due Thursday 

- Terry Fox Run - Our school run is on Friday September 27th at 10:30am. We would love some parent volunteers to support our students as they run the Terry Fox laps.

- Math - counter clockwise turns/rotations needs to be done in your math notebook by tomorrow. 

- Friday - there is no school

- Souper Stars form - please fill in the Acknowledgment of Risk and the Tear off portion and return to school by Thursday.

- Next Tuesday is our first Treat Day - bring your quarters!

2 - Welcome Back Assembly tomorrow at 10 am in the gym - feel free to wear your Dr. Coffin shirts or sweatshirts to the assembly tomorrow

3 - Tomorrow students will be bringing home the Back to School package of paper. There are lots of forms to go through and sign/fill in. Please watch for that tomorrow. These pages are due next Tuesday September 10th.

4 - First Fresh Air Friday is this Friday - please come prepared for the weather. We go out rain or shine!
