The winter Solstice ocurrs evry year between december 20 and 23. The sun seems to stop moving, and it appear to rise and set in the same place. In fact, the word “solstice” comes from the latin words for “sun stand’s still.” In the Northern Hemispere, the Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year This event also means that the whether starts to get colder north of the earths equator.

We completed our Interactive Math Journal page and saw 3 different methods that we could use. Like with multiplication, we are to choose which method works best for us.

We learned that some provinces (initially) did not want the Charter of Rights and Freedoms to be created.  We also learned about the fundamental freedoms that each Canadian citizen enjoys.

We continued to watch parts 2 and 3 in the video series 'Fundamental Freedoms'.
What do you need to learn next?
We need to learn more about the specific rights contained within the Charter.
