Learning Intention
What did you learn today?
We went to Nose Hill today (even though the weather wasn't great - we were awesome possums)
We did not find any examples of the same red eggs at the base of any of the Aspen Poplar trees. 
How did you show what you learned?
We hiked up to Nose Hill and went into an Aspen Grove and each group selected  25 trees to investigate. We kept track of the 25 trees in various ways. We all came to the same conclusion that there are no red eggs on the bases of these particular Aspen Poplars
What do you need to learn next?
Why are the eggs only in Whispering Woods and not on Nose Hill?

Why do the trees in Nose Hill look different than our trees? More uniform bark colour, green moss at the base, the diameter of the trunks seemed smaller.
