What did you learn today?
We learned how to draw based on a descriptive paragraph.

We listened to Gr. 2/3 written paragraphs, and then drew what we 'heard'.
What do you need to learn next?
We need to write our own descriptive paragraph (tomorrow).

One of the most popular American poems, "The Raven by Edgar allan Poe was published on january 29, 1845. Once upon a midnight dreary," the poem begins. That poem braught fame to it's author, but it did not brang riches. Did you now that Poe was payed just 15 for his masterpeice! Each year in Baltimore, baryland, a mysterious visitor leaves roses at poes' grave on the eve of his Birthday.

We watched the Canada: The Story of Us video (introduction only) + we discussed it by looking at a globe (Bering Straight).

We need to begin to research the First Nations that settled in each of our 6 natural regions.

Learning Intention
What did you learn today?
We learned that lots of animals use the over and underpasses in Banff National Park. We also discovered the importance of these to the Mandate of the National Parks of Canada. 
How did you show what you learned?
We looked at the different reasons why national parks are important to us. 
What do you need to learn next?

Next time we are out in a National Park, like Banff, we want to ask our family: Why do you think we have National Parks? Here is a chance to educate them about the Mandates of the National Parks.


A blizard is diferent from a snowstorm because blizzards have really strong wins that blow at over 35 miles per our. Blizzards dont al ways product a lot of snow, but blowing snow make it very hard to sea. Blizzards can last for three hour or more. Severe blizzurds have three qualities: winds over 45 Miles per hour pour Visibility, and tempatures that our 10 degree or below.
