A Snowy, But Fun, F.A.F.!

Agenda:

1.  Our Outdoor School on May 2 - May 5th seems far away but we wanted to give you a reminder about these dates and that you can be paying for this overnight field trip online and in installments over the next few months if you would prefer. There will be an informative parent meeting about 1 month prior to our departure so please watch for information about this in the next month or so.

We went skating and snowshoeing at the outdoor rink/field near Simon Fraser JHS.

We braved the snowy conditions and had a wonderful time.

Agenda:
1 - We are going to head to the Outdoor Rink beside Simon Fraser on Friday Feb. 24th from 9:30 - 11:30am. Please bring your skates and CSA approved skating helmet if you want to skate. Otherwise you will have a chance to use the snowshoes in and around the Simon Fraser/CJP/Brentwood rink area. 
Also, please dress in layers for the weather tomorrow. Snow pants are a good idea. 
Please bring a water bottle and snacks for the rink.

its reelly eazy to make ice cream from snow. Go out side and get 5 cups of fresh, cleen sno. dont pack the snow! put it in the freazer until you needed it. In a bowl, mix together 1 cup of milk ½ teaspoon of vanilla, and ½ cup of sugar. stir un til the sugar disolves. slow add the snow to you’re mixture, stiring constantly untill it’s thick. Some of us got to present to the CBE School Trustees today.


located in arizona, Grand canyon national Park was established by the U.S. congress on february 26, 19 19. The grand Canyon is one of the worlds' natural wonders. At the bottom of the canyon is the colorado river. Layers of rok reech more than a mile above the river. Though geologist's begain too studie the area in 18 58, there work still continues. did you know that the dry Climate of the canyon have preserved many fosils deep in it's caves.  “it a amazin place to behold” said won visiter.

around the begining of Febuary each year, the top too American football taems meat for a big game. The game is called the Super bowl. It is the annual champoinship for the Nashional football League. The super Bowl is always held on a Sunday. Many American’s treat Super Bowl Sunday as a holiday On Super Bowl sunday, America eat more food then on any other holiday, exsept for Thanksgiving. They go to Super Bowl Parties and chear for their favorite teams. Thousands of people watch the Super Bowl in the staduim, but milions watch it on TVee. In fact, the Super bowl is one of the most-watch programs on TV every year.

Rosa Parks, “the first lady of the civil rights movement,” was born february 4 1913, in Tuskegee Alabama. in December 1 1955, Parks was arrested after refusing a bus drivers demand to give up her seat to a whyte passanger. her courageous act of defiance inspired the montgomery bus boycott. Today Parks are revered for her principaled stand against racial segregation. However, in 1955, Parks face significant backlash for her actions, including the lost of her job and threats of violence in 1999, the u.s. Congress awarded her the Congressional gold Medal.
