We enjoyed our second sunny, warm day at COP.

We need to remember all the lessons we were taught about skiing and snowboarding.

Agenda:
1 - Read 20 minutes each night - on Raz Kids too if you are signed up

2 - March 19 and 20 - Grade 5/6 Ski and Snowboard field trip - if you are choosing to bring your own equipment Please label all of your equipment and bring it to room 7 on Monday. Your lift ticket and progression card will be given out on Monday. Please wear the coat that you will be wearing for Tuesday and Wednesday as you will only receive one ticket!

3 - Green Notice came home on Tuesday to both grade 5 and 6 families - it is about the Grade 6 Farewell Celebration

4- Math Homework - back of page 3 - # 1 -12 (or 1 - 6)

5 - Social Studies quiz is next Thursday - you will have time on Monday to study in class

6 - Bring your Airplane item on Monday next week.

We will be using these materials and therefore you will not be able to get them back - Thanks in advance!

March 14th, 2019. PI DAY!!!

Agenda:


1. Science: We are beginning our study of Air - this unit will require a few materials that some of you may have around your house (please do not go out and buy any of these items). 2 L pop bottles, balloons, metal coat hangers, string, straws, News paper, pingpong balls and/or soup cans. We will be using these materials and therefore you will not be able to get them back - Thanks in advance!
5. Social Quiz - next Thursday - we will be reviewing in class the next few days.
2. Math Quiz - please sign and return.
3. Grade 6 Farewell volunteer letter went home today, for all Grade 5 and 6 students.
4. Clay for Kids project coming home today.

We learned that Albert Einstein was born on Pi Day.  The # PI is infinite after the decimal...

We researched Pi.
What do you need to learn next?
We need to appreciate that it is an infinitely interesting number!

3. Spelling exercises and Edit Phunn!! both due Thursday.
