We learned about habitats within Whispering Woods. 
How did you show what you learned?
We investigated the woods for any evidence of habitat and noted some of the protective features of these habitats.
What do you need to learn next?
We need to recognize that there are not a lot of active habitats currently (winter).

We need to realize that there is a lot of important work that is done at Calgary City Council.

3 - 2 Tickets per student to a Roughnecks game came home today
4 - MATH - Booklet - Due Thursday (since we have a field trip tomorrow) page 175 - 176 # 3 (c,d,e and f only for certain students)
5 - Read 20 minutes each night

Field Trip is Tomorrow - 
We will begin our day at City Hall and attend a committee meeting, have a tour of City Hall, each lunch and the afternoon will be spent at the new Public Library. Henry's mom works there and will be giving us a tour of this new Calgary Landmark. 
Things to Bring for tomorrow - a backpack, a litterless lunch and snacks, water bottle, don't forget necessary medications, running shoes as we are inside all day, bring your FAF notebook and a pencil and eraser. Hats cannot be worn in Council Chambers - so be prepared to remove it at that time. 
The Bus will leave the school between 8:50 and 855 - so come to school on time and ready to go. We will return to school around 3:00 pm

Learning Intention 
What did you learn today?
We learned about how provincial and bylaws are made. We learned why there needs to be 3 readings of a law. 
How did you show what you learned?
We made real life comparisons. 
What do you need to learn next?
We will get to see where these conversations and bylaws are made.

We need to understand that there are rules for patterns (horizontally) and patterns (growth and decreasing - vertically) that use 't' tables.
