October 16th, 2018.

Agenda:
1. Please read 30 minutes every day at home.
2. We will be going to the Public Library (Brentwood) this Friday.  Thanks for volunteering - we have enough to accompany us down to the library.
3. ****PICTURE DAY is TOMORROW.  Please come prepared/dressed for photos.
4. Thursday will be our first Literacy Night between 6:00-7:00pm (in Rooms 6 & 7).  Please join us with your child/children to learn more about what we do in literacy.
5. We are currently looking at Place Value in math (Grade 5 - will look at numbers up to One Million and grade 6s will look at numbers greater than One Million.) We want to ensure we understand the place and value of large numbers prior to looking at operations involving numbers.
So, over the next few weeks you can do a few things to feel ready for operations - practice your basic multiplication facts!!! Grade 5 - please practice your basic facts up to 10x10 and grade 6s please practice your basic facts up to 12x12.

7. Book order forms are due back to Rm. 6 by November 7th, 2018.
