October 10th, 2018.

Agenda:

1. Check for Understanding (your quiz J) is on Thursday Oct. 9th

 Triangles and Quadrilaterals Review:

1)   Identify the different Types of Triangles – know the lines of symmetry and naming them based on their attributes.
- Equilateral triangle – 
- Isosceles triangle – 
- Scalene triangle – 
 - Right-angled triangle – 
You can also include obtuse angle and acute angle when naming the triangles.

2)   Quadrilaterals –
-       draw and name various quadrilaterals 

3)   Know the attributes of quadrilaterals. Be able to:
-       match the attribute to the shape 
-       Attributes may include: angle type, shape name, parallel lines, lines of symmetry, etc.

4)   Draw a shape from given attributes
- draw these by following step by step instructions

In order to feel prepared for Thursday, review your notes in your purple math notebook. Look back at the worksheets we did. And, use your IMJ (Interactive Math Journal) to manipulate the different types of angles, triangles and quadrilaterals.

2. Spelling Exercises due tomorrow.

3. If you haven't finished the 3 Social Studies questions, please complete at home.

We need to appreciate that using facts when we state opinions, makes them 'stronger'.
