Learning Intention
What did you learn today?
We learned about the areas in our school yard that will need our care and attention - front of school, parking lot, portable and our 9 new aspens.
How did you show what you learned?
We created a list of recommendations and tools that we think we can or will need to make these spaces ready for spring and to show care for the trees:
raking leaves, mixing up the dirt using a shovel, applying fertilizer and new soil to cover roots and help the plants get the nutrients they need, cutting back the grass, watering these plants enough, weeding,
What do you need to learn next?
We will spend the next few weeks to prep these areas and create a care plan to help these areas grow. We also need to make signs and announcements to share what we are learning and doing.
