The winter Solstice ocurrs evry year between december 20
and 23. The sun seems to stop moving, and it appear to rise and set in the same
place. In fact, the word “solstice” comes from the latin words for “sun stand’s
still.” In the Northern Hemispere, the Winter Solstice is the shortest day of
the year This event also means that the whether starts to get colder north of
the earths equator.
