A Snowy, But Fun, F.A.F.!

1.  Our Outdoor School on May 2 - May 5th seems far away but we wanted to give you a reminder about these dates and that you can be paying for this overnight field trip online and in installments over the next few months if you would prefer. There will be an informative parent meeting about 1 month prior to our departure so please watch for information about this in the next month or so.

We went skating and snowshoeing at the outdoor rink/field near Simon Fraser JHS.
How did you show what you learned?
We braved the snowy conditions and had a wonderful time.

February 23rd, 2017.

Agenda:

1 - We are going to head to the Outdoor Rink beside Simon Fraser on Friday Feb. 24th from 9:30 - 11:30am. Please bring your skates and CSA approved skating helmet if you want to skate. Otherwise you will have a chance to use the snowshoes in and around the Simon Fraser/CJP/Brentwood rink area. 

Also, please dress in layers for the weather tomorrow. Snow pants are a good idea. 

Please bring a water bottle and snacks for the rink.

1. We will be going skating at the outdoor rink near Brentwood Arena this F.A.F.  If you would like to participate, please be sure to bring your own skates AND HELMET.  Only students with helmets will be allowed to skate.

its reelly eazy to make ice cream from snow. Go out side and get 5 cups of fresh, cleen sno. dont pack the snow! put it in the freazer until you needed it. In a bowl, mix together 1 cup of milk ½ teaspoon of vanilla, and ½ cup of sugar. stir un til the sugar disolves. slow add the snow to you’re mixture, stiring constantly untill it’s thick.
